A swing and a hit

Unfortunately the Indians have just not been playing the best baseball ever the last couple days. However, that doesn’t mean I’m still not a huge fan and loving this season. It’s just a little slump, like I keep reminding the guys of at work who are being downers and getting worried about the season. The Indians are currently the only team over .600 and we can’t be freaking out over a couple of games.

That said, I had an awesome weekend of baseball. Thursday I ended up getting lower reserve tickets, for FREE, from a friend. It was a gorgeous night for baseball until the sun set and I was freezing as I sat next to Choo in left field.

Friday, Lisa and I ventured off to Greenhouse Tavern (YUM!) before heading to the Indians Social Suite. Since the last time I was in the Suite, it was a torrential downpour, I was invited back. There was a great group in the Suite and it was a great night for baseball.

The Indians lost but once the 9th inning hit we all felt like we were winning as Curtis (Dir. of Comm. for the Indians) took us down to the visitors dugout to watch the post-game fireworks. Talk about an awesome benefit to being in the suite! Plus it was “Tweener Pop Music Night”…who doesn’t love that?

I can’t speak highly enough of the Indians Marketing Department and what an awesome job they are doing at connecting with fans via social media. Keep up the great work!

(Disclaimer: The Indians tickets were complimentary in return for tweeting, Facebooking and blogging about Cleveland and our awesome baseball team. All opinions are my own.)
