Friday night, despite the rain and cold, I was very excited to be joining the Hunger Network for Rolling on the River at Windows on the River. Not only was I joined by one of my best friends, I was fortunate enough to have a group of a girlfriends that were also attending.
The crowd was happy with drinks, yummy food provided by Windows on the River, entertained by a great band and fantastic emcee. I can’t speak highly enough about what a great job the committee did. The event was smoothly from start to finish and featured casino games (which I actually didn’t participate in….helllloooooo….I’ve lost more than enough money at the Horseshow).
If you haven’t checked into the Hunger Network yet, you should. Minus being a fantastic nonprofit, they offer a lot of ways to get involved.
Disclosure: In return for blogging and promoting this event, I was provided with two tickets to Rolling on the River. As always, all opinions are my own.
