Fabulous Friday: The Last Year

It’s officially my 29th birthday. I hear this is going to be one of the best years yet. And thanks to some fabulous friends (including The BFF, his wife, my girl best friend, Smitten in Cle, WhyCLE, PoiseinParma and a million other friends) I’ve been reassured that the 30’s are the best time of your life. So here’s hoping so!

Time for some reflection. A year older. A year wiser. All that jazz.

A lot has changed the past year.

I changed jobs. And now work with some of my closest friends and love the fact that I know I will laugh every day at my job. And that I’m learning a lot. Advertising/PR was definitely the right career change for me.

I moved. Back to being a city girl, which makes me unbelievably happy on so many levels. I’m spending more time Downtown, enjoying the Cleveland restaurant and bar scene.

I’ve met some amazing new friends (thank you Twitter and Cleveland Blogger Community, as well as work). Made some changes in friendships and what not  but it’s all for the better.

Time to cheers to the past year and prep for the next one with dinner and drinks (bubbles will be had) tonight, followed up with the Rock Hall Induction. Full recap will be coming after the hangover is gone.

So, here’s hoping 29 is as fantastic, if not more so, than 28 was. After all…it is the last birthday I’m celebrating.

I can’t say much for life in one’s 30’s, but from those I know that are in them, it’s said to be pretty darn awesome. I say we enjoy our twenties for as long as we can!! Hope you had a fabulous birthday week!
