One of my most favorite artists is Grace Potter so when Grace and the Nocturnals were coming to House of Blues, Monina and I both knew we had to go to this one. It was the perfect middle of the week concert, plus we got to catch up and see friends at Hodge’s beforehand.
I’ve been on a Grace kick all week and hearing this song in concert made me fall in love with it more:
p.s. Grace is another person I’d like as a best friend. Similar to Jennifer Nettles.

SO jealous! I was in finance, even more miserable than usual because I was missing Grace. I could definitely see you being friends with her.
loved that song too! i personally also adored ‘big white gate’ — which is the one she said she wrote for her dying grandmother. as soon as she said that i knew i would like it. such a touching song. and pretty sweet bc after i made the comment that i would probably tear up my friend just would reach over and touch my arm during it. awesome concert. completely in love with her!
