Holy cow…it’s July already! Literally halfway through the year. How crazy is that? (Yes, I realize it’s the 4th, not the 1st – just go with it – Happy 4th of July!)
I feel like summer is already going way too quickly and with my weekends filling up, I’m afraid fall will be here before we know it. That said, I do love Fall most of all (but if there’s no Browns season – I may be curled up in a ball every Sunday).
But all in all, not a bad way to start off the month of July. I’m in the process of making my next big decision which has been scary and exciting, all at the same time. Being a grown-up is serious work!
This weekend was fun-filled including a trip to Playhouse Square to see Jersey Boys. If you haven’t been able to catch a musical lately, I highly suggest this one. The story is fantastic, the acting is superior and the singing…A-mazing. Literally, they sounded just like the real Four Seasons.
Sunday night included a trip to Crocker Park where little did I know that everyone on the west side was going to also be. The Cleveland Pops Orchestra performed a concert in the middle of the “square” (for lack of a better term) and fireworks followed. Which literally happened right above us. It was one of the better displays I’ve seen AND I ran into a ton of friends which was also an added benefit!
And I was super excited on Monday to meet up with a friend from college, Amanda and her husband Josh. We visited East 4th and went to the House of Blues for dinner (since literally everyone had the same idea pre-Indians game). It’s always great to catch up with old friends and this reminded me of that! (Even if they are Yankees fans….)
And now into another week we go. And it’s also Bachelorette time (which btw: how happy was I that Mickey left last week?! Good job Mickey – Cleveland is proud of you)!
